Social Media Volunteer
The Rhythm of Hope is an exciting concert celebrating Caribbean culture while raising
funds to rebuild lives impacted by hurricanes and fires in Jamaica. As we approach the
event, we are recruiting volunteers to support our 12-week social media campaign
leading up to the concert.


Role
Social Media Content Manager (Volunteer)

Commitment: 12 weeks (part-time, flexible hours, 8-10 hours per week apx)

Eligibility: Open to individuals aged 16* and above
* 16-18 year old applicants will require written parental permission.
Responsiblities

Develop and manage social media content across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn)

Support content creation, including graphics, videos, and promotional materials

Create and schedule posts using a calendar-based approach aligned with media interviews, promotions, and event updates.

Engage with the community online, responding to inquiries, comments and fostering engagement.

Collaborate with the team to ensure brand consistency and effective messaging
Skills and Qualifications:

Good understanding of social media platforms and content trends

Ability to create engaging, high-quality content

Experience in promoting community events (Desired, but not essential)

Good organisational skills

Creative thinking and adaptability to align with campaign needs

Passion for Caribbean culture and disaster relief efforts (Desired, but not essential)
